Description
Upon arrival at Cairo airport you will find one of our representatives carrying an (Egypt Viajes Tours) sign who will help you with the passport formalities and luggage identification. At the exit from the airport you will meet your private tour guide with a modern air-conditioned car who will take you to your 5-star hotel in Cairo to rest. In the evening we begin your 9 days in Egypt with dinner cruise with belly dancing show and traditional tannoura dance. Then we return to the hotel, you spend the night at the hotel.

The Giza Pyramid Complex

The Incredible Sphinx
An ancient Egyptian God was called “Horem ajet” which means Horus on the horizon but today he is called “Abu el Hol” which means father of terror in Arabic. He has the body of a lion (symbol of strength) and a human head (symbol of intelligence) with the face of Pharaoh Khafre, the founder of the second pyramid. The Sphinx measures 73 meters in length, 20 meters in height and 19 meters in width. It was sculpted from a single piece of limestone.
The Valley Temple
was built in the time of the Old Empire by Pharaoh Kefren to carry out the mummification process of the Pharaoh. The temple is very well preserved.

The great Library of Alexandria is one of the largest cultural centers in the world. It is a commemoration of the ancient library of Alexandria.
At the end of the day we return to the hotel in Cairo, you spend the night at the hotel.
In the morning enjoy breakfast, we leave the hotel towards Cairo airport to take the flight to Aswan. Upon arrival we will visit the most important things in Aswan.
The Aswan High Dam
This wonderful project was built between 1960 and 1970 as a result of cooperation between Russia and Egypt. The High Dam is very important to control the flooding of the Nile and produce electricity.

The Temple of Philae
is the home of the goddess Isis (goddess of motherhood in ancient Egypt). According to legend; The god Osiris was killed by the god Set (god of evil in ancient Egypt), then was resurrected to life by the tears of his wife, the goddess Isis, who took refuge on the Island of Philae. The Temple of Philae was saved from the water of the Nile after building the Aswan High Dam and was moved to Ejelica Island by UNESCO between 1964 and 1968.

The Temolo of Kom Ombo
The Temple of Kom Ombo which means (Pile of Gold) was built during the Greco-Roman era between 205 BC and 180 AD. The temple is divided into two temples in the same area; one dedicated to the god Sobek (the crocodile god) and the other dedicated to the god “Hor-wer” which means Horus the great.
We return to the boat and you enjoy lunch. We spent the rest of the day and night on board.

The Temple of Edfu
The Temple of Edfu is one of the last temples that were built during the Ptolemaic era between 237 BC and 57 AD. It is the main temple of the god Horus (god of protection in ancient Egypt). According to the myth of the god Osiris and the goddess Isis; At this site part of the combat between the god Osiris (the god of good) and his brother the god Set (god of evil in ancient Egypt) occurred. The architecture of this temple and the wall paintings are wonderful.

The Temple of Hachepsut was built in 1479 BC at the time of the new empire for 15 years. It was dedicated to the god Amun-ra and as the mortuary temple of Queen Hachepsut
The Colossi of Memnon
They are two colossi carved from sandstone, measuring 18 meters high and weighing 720 tons. Each statue with the image of Pharaoh Amenophis III (1386-1350 BC). The Colossi of Memnon were damaged by an earthquake in the year 27 BC. They were rebuilt in the year 199 after Christ. Colossi were very popular during Greco-Roman times because of Memnon’s fame for the sound that came from the statues at dawn each day.

Karnak Temple
It was known by the name “Pr Imn” which means the house of Amun (the main god of Egypt during the time of the new empire). Karnak Temple is one of the largest temples in the world. It contains sanctuaries of several gods such as Osiris, Isis, Ptah but the complex was dedicated mainly to the Theban triad (Amun, Mut, Jonsu).

The Hanging Church
The Church of Virgin Mary (The Hanging Church) is one of the oldest, most important and famous churches in Egypt. It was the residence of the Pope of the Coptic Orthodox Church for centuries. The church was built on top of two towers of the Babylonian fortress (Roman fortress) in the 4th century AD.

The Ben Ezra Synagogue
Dating back to the 9th century, it was built as a church before being transformed into a synagogue in 882 AD. That Ben Ezra synagogue was the most important synagogue in Egypt until 1950.

Jan El Jalili
This street dates back to 970 AD when the city of Cairo was built. It was one of the main streets of the old city of Cairo. The entire street contains Islamic architecture and art where there are many shops and cafes with the same Islamic style.
